During the past month, I have had the opportunity to experience some cool things and events from a few different car companies. First, I had an opportunity to drive the new Cadillac ATS for 3 days. As part of the build up for the Autoshow I was also invited to 2 different car events: The Ford Blue Party and the launch of the new 2014 Corvette C7 Stingray. I don’t typically blog about attending events, but since the Autoshow is currently going on in Toronto I have decided to write a post about some of these cars, and include a giveaway of 2 tickets to the Autoshow. Here is a recap of these experiences:

Cadillac ATS Test Drive

Since I actually got to play around with this car, I decided to do a much more detailed review of the Cadillac ATS.

Ford Blue Party

On Friday, February the 8th I was invited to attend the Ford Blue Party. The party was organized to celebrate the latest things going on at Ford Canada and to showcase the launch of their car, the 2014 Ford Fiesta. The party took place at Sound Academy and had everything you could ask for! Delicious food and drinks, video games, massages, nail and hair stations for the ladies and even a live performance by a Toronto dance crew. Overall it was interesting to see the things Ford is doing to build their brand presence once again after going through some rough years. My favorite car at the event was the Ford Fusion. I love the new styling they are using and think the front of the car has a look similar to the Aston Martin.

2014 Chevy Corvette C7 Stingray Launch

The last car event I got to attend was GM Canada’s launch of the 2014 Chevy Corvette C7 Stingray. The event was held at a beautiful venue in the Fermenting Cellar of the Distillery District. There was plenty of delicious food and Corvette-inspired cocktails to get started but the main event was the unveiling of the new car. After a quick introduction to the car by General Motors Canada President, Kevin Williams, the curtain was dropped to unveil Corvette Racing Ambassador Ron Fellows sitting in the car.

The car itself looked awesome! I really liked the side, overhead and rear views the most though I felt the front was quite similar to past models. It definitely looked like a car that could fly!

Autoshow Tickets Giveaway

Since I received a ticket to the Autoshow at both the Ford and Chevy events I have decided to share those with one reader of my blog.

The contest will end Wednesday at midnight and tickets can be picked up or dropped off in downtown Toronto. To make things easy I have offered a few different ways for you to enter:
