Just over a month ago, I was tipped off by my friend Jo about a clothing store where you can go to buy high-end designer clothing for dirt cheap! The ironic thing about this trip was that I went to high school right next door to this place, but had never even heard of it and they have been in operation since 1993!

Off The Cuff is located in a building tucked in from the street at Broadway and Yonge (5 Broadway Ave. to be exact). They specialize in high-end consignment menswear (though they occasionally get some women’s clothing) that has been lightly used and is looking for a new home. The shop has everything for your clothing needs, including suits, dress shirts, jackets, pants, shoes and all sorts of accessories. Though, instead of paying the crazy original retail prices you can get some great finds for a fraction of the cost!

Examples of designer brands you can find here are Armani, Hugo Boss, Zenga, Canali, Prada and many more! Basically anything you can find at stores like Holt Renfrew or Harry Rosen.

What I really liked about Off The Cuff was the personal attention given by owner, Lee Romberg. Lee has a great eye and will find you the perfect clothing item to fit your body type. Since I am a bigger guy, there wasn’t a lot of selection but since their stock changes all the time, Lee said he would let me know when items that fit my body arrived in the shop.

I happened to visit the shop during a 50% off sale and walked out with a Hugo Boss suit, a couple ties (Hugo Boss & another silk tie) and another high end dress shirt all for around $300! The same items retail would have cost somewhere around $1500.

They also carry some new mens clothing if you don’t really like the idea of buying consignment but you will have to check in to see what is in stock currently. They have some items listed on their website, but I am not sure how frequently this is updated.

If you are in the market for some high end clothing pieces to add to your wardrobe I definitely recommend giving them a visit first. Tell Lee I sent you and he will take good care of you!
